What is Synq?

Synq is a digital platform that connects you directly with Artists at live events, allowing you to request songs, get shoutouts, and vote on the music playlist, enhancing your nightlife experience.

How do I request a song or a shoutout?

Simply navigate to the event page on the Synq app or scan the QR Code at an even. Upon opening the event page, see which Artist is performing and enter the song you want to hear or the message you want for your shoutout, and submit your request. The Artist will receive your request in real-time.

Is there a fee to use Synq?

Accessing Synq and browsing events is free. However, requesting songs or shoutouts may incur a fee depending on the event or venue. These fees help support the DJs and maintain the quality of our services.

What happens when a request is denied?

If the Artist denies a request, the partygoer who requested it is automatically refunded. If the Artist ends a party without marking a requested song as played on the request inbox screen, the refund will also take place. Synq store the funds until the request is marked as played, hence partygoers can request songs in total confidence.

Can I use Synq at any event?

Synq is available at a wide range of participating venues and events. To find out if Synq is available at an event, look for the Synq logo or check our app for a list of partnered venues.

What is an LED Shoutout and how does it work?

LED Shoutout feature lets you display your text message or name on the led screen at a venue. Along with your shoutout by DJ, your message will also be displayed in LED Screen at the venue.

How do I vote on songs?

During an event, you can vote on songs that have been requested by tapping the ‘Vote’ button next to the song name in the requested section. The songs with the most votes get higher priority in the queue.

Can I cancel a song request or shoutout after submitting it?

Yes, you can cancel a request as long as it hasn’t been approved or played by the DJ. Simply go to your request history and select the request you wish to cancel.

How do I sign up to use Synq as an artist?

Once you’re logged into the Synq app, you will see incoming song requests and shoutout orders in real-time on your dashboard. You can review, accept, or decline these requests based on your setlist and the event’s atmosphere.

Are there any fees for song request and name shoutout?

For DJs and Venues, there are no upfront fees to accept song request and name shoutout. Synq charges only a commission on the revenue generated by played song requests or name shoutout, also providing you with an extra source of income.

Can I promote my personal setlist on Synq?

Yes, Synq allows you to upload and promote your setlist. This feature lets your audience know what songs are available for request and helps manage expectations during an event.

What are the benefits of subscribing to Synq Pro?

Synq Pro offers enhanced features such as requesting songs and name shoutouts in a private event, booking and tipping features for artists along with many other perks. It’s designed to help you enhance your private events and engage more effectively with your audience.

How do I handle payments and tips received through Synq?

All payments and tips processed through Synq are transferred to your designated bank account or UPI ID. You can manage and update your payment methods in the app’s ‘Payout & Billing’ section.

What should I do if there is a technical issue during an event?

If you encounter any technical difficulties during an event, please contact our support team immediately through the app or use the ‘Support’ feature located in your settings menu.

Can I cancel a song request or shoutout after accepting it?

Once a request is accepted, it is expected to be fulfilled. However, if you must cancel an accepted request due to unforeseen circumstances, communicate with your audience directly through Synq to manage expectations.
